The IQ's application has advanced mapping and automation features however, it's not able to access no-go zones that are available on iRobot models. The smart-pathing technology allows for superior maneuverability and the high-pile feature of its carpet cleaning mode is efficient however it can be caught in rug tassels.

During our tests during our tests, the IQ was capable of handling pet hair effectively, clearing huge amounts of debris from floors with no flooring and fair amounts of medium-pile carpet. It was less effective on shag carpet, where it struggled to get at dirt and dust buried in the fibers. It did a decent job of navigating the legs of chairs, tight spaces, and the wooden base of an IKEA step stool. It was a bit slower on bare flooring, but it recovered speed and did better than other robots we test.

The IQ is a better option over the iRobot Roomba 694 for most applications. It has a larger dustbin, lasts longer on a charge, and does a better job of getting around obstacles. It has a mopping tool that can clean up sticky debris. On the other side the iRobot feels better-built, has fewer parts that require replacement or maintenance, incurs lower recurring costs and creates virtual no-go zones using its companion app. It can even restart a cleaning session from where it left off in case it is unable to recharge its battery prior to having completed the task. The iRobot can also be controlled with voice, which can be an advantage for many users.

Eufy 11S

The RoboVac 11S by eufy isn't exactly the most feature-rich robot vacuum available however it offers great cleaning power for a low price. It's designed for budget-conscious buyers who don't need a complicated mapping system or an app to control the device. This robot can run for up to an hour and comes with the remote, a cleaning tool, AC power adapter, charging base, and additional filters.

The 11S is slim and sleek, and features a tempered-glass upper deck that appears like polished aluminum. It's a nice change from the utilitarian and industrial designs of Roomba, Samsung and Neato.

The eufy11S was successful in our tests of removing larger debris and fine dust from flooring. It was unable to thoroughly clean medium and high-pile carpets. It is also prone to hit furniture and other objects in its path however, it's able detect these obstacles using sensors. It stops and emits a loud sound when it encounters an obstruction. It comes with an onboard HEPA and self-emptying bin, so you don't need any additional filters or a vacuum bag.

It's not quite as powerful as the more expensive models, but it's great for deep cleaning and tackling stains.
